Protect Your Poco X3 Series

Step-by-Step Poco X3 Camera Lens Replacement Guide

Step 1: Power Off and Remove SIM Tray

Power off the phone completely. Remove the SIM tray using a SIM eject tool.

Step 2: Heat and Remove the Back Cover

Gently heat around the rear cover edges to soften the adhesive.

  • Place the rear cover side on a heating pad and select the mobile heating option
  • Alternatively, use a heat gun or hairdryer

Use a suction cup to create an opening between the frame and rear cover. Insert a plastic pry tool and carefully cut the adhesive around the edges. Remove the back cover.

Step 3: Remove the Board Frame and Camera Lens Frame

Undo 11 Phillips screws securing the board frame and camera lens frame. Lift and remove the frame carefully.

Step 4: Remove the Broken Camera Lens

Apply light heat directly to the camera lens area to soften the adhesive.
Gently apply pressure from the rear side to push the broken lens out.

⚠️ Be very careful during this step and ensure:

  • All broken glass pieces are removed
  • The surface is completely clean
  • No glass fragments remain near the camera module

Step 5: Install the New Camera Lens

Place the new camera lens with pre-installed adhesive into position.
Press firmly around the edges to ensure proper sealing.

Step 6: Reinstall the Frame

Reinstall the camera lens frame and board frame. Secure them using 11 screws.

Step 7: Seal the Back Cover

Before closing the device, check the back cover adhesive.
If needed, apply B7000 glue or new double-sided adhesive.

Press the back cover firmly and use bonding clips or rubber bands to hold it in place for several minutes.

Q: Does this guide work for Poco X3 Pro and X3 NFC?
