  • Adhesive (B7000 or double-sided back cover adhesive)
  • Bonding clips or rubber bands (optional but recommended)

Step-by-Step Back Camera Replacement

Step 1: Power Off the iPad

Turn off the iPad completely before starting the repair to avoid any short circuits.


Step 2: Heat the Front Screen

  • Heat the front side only
  • Select tablet heating mode
  • Heat for 3–5 minutes

On the top right, remove the camera bracket by undoing five screws.


Step 8: Remove the Faulty Rear Camera

Remove one screw holding the rear camera.
Disconnect the three connector plugs and remove the faulty camera.


Step 9: Install the New Back Camera

Place the new camera in the body.
Reconnect the three connector plugs and secure it with one screw.


Step 10: Reinstall the Camera Bracket

Place the bracket back and secure it with five screws.


Step 11: Reconnect the Screen

Place the screen back into the body.
Connect the LCD and touch connectors and secure them with the shield and three screws.


Step 12: Secure the Top Connector

Close the screen like a book at a 45-degree angle.
Slide the screen down and connect the top connector to the logic board.
Secure the shield with two screws.


Step 13: Close the iPad

To clamp the iPad back together:

  • Insert the top section first
  • Then press the sides and bottom simultaneously
  • Apply pressure around the edges to secure the screen
