In this guide, we’ll walk you through the complete camera replacement process, including safe disassembly, camera module removal, and correct reinstallation.

Before You Begin

Required Tools

  • Heating pad / heat gun / hairdryer
  • Suction cup
  • Plastic card pry tools / opening picks
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Adhesive (B7000 or double-sided back cover adhesive)
  • Bonding clips or rubber bands (optional but recommended)

Make sure the phone is turned off and the SIM tray is removed before starting.

How to Find Tools and Parts


Step-by-Step Repair Instructions

Step 1: Power Off & SIM Tray

First, turn off the phone completely.
Remove the SIM tray and prepare the device for back cover removal.

Step 2: Remove the Back Cover

Create a gap near the SIM slot or charging port using a picker or plastic card pry tool.
Insert the pry tool and gently move around the phone to release the plastic clips on the frame.

⚠️ Be gentle while lifting the back cover, as the fingerprint sensor flex is attached.

Step 3: Remove Board Cover & Disconnect Battery

Undo eight screws and remove the board cover.
Disconnect the battery connector, then disconnect the fingerprint button flex to fully release the back cover.

Step 4: Remove Front & Depth Cameras

Disconnect the connector and remove the front camera.
Next, disconnect and remove the depth camera.

Step 5: Disconnect Logic Board

Disconnect both antenna heads from the logic board.
Disconnect the LCD display connector.
Undo the board screw and carefully remove the logic board from the frame.

Step 6: Remove Rear Cameras

From the rear side of the logic board, disconnect and remove the faulty:

  • Main (Wide) camera
  • Ultra-wide camera
  • Macro camera

Step 7: Install New Rear Cameras

Place the new wide, ultra-wide, and macro camera modules onto the logic board.
Ensure each camera is seated properly and connectors are aligned.

Step 8: Reinstall Logic Board

Place the logic board back into position and secure it using the screw removed earlier.
Reconnect the LCD flex and both antenna heads.

Step 9: Install Front & Depth Cameras

Place and secure the new front camera.
Next, connect and secure the new depth camera.

Step 10: Reconnect Battery & Board Cover

Reconnect the fingerprint button flex.
Secure the battery connector.
Reinstall the board cover and fasten it using eight screws.

Final Step: Close the Phone

Snap the back cover into place and press around the edges to secure all clips.
Insert the SIM tray, power on the device, and test all camera functions.
