How to Find Tools and Parts

Step-by-Step Repair Instructions

Step 1: Power Off & SIM Tray

First, turn off the phone completely.
Remove the SIM tray and prepare the device for back cover removal.

Step 2: Remove the Back Cover

Create a small gap near the SIM slot or charging port using a picker or plastic card pry tool.
Insert the pry tool and gently move around the phone to release the plastic clips on the frame.

⚠️ Be gentle when lifting the back cover, as the fingerprint sensor flex is attached.

Step 3: Remove the 3-in-1 Camera Lens Frame

Using a tweezer, carefully remove the 3-in-1 camera lens unit frame from the back cover.

Step 4: Remove the Broken Camera Lens Glass

Apply gentle heat to the broken camera lens glass to soften the adhesive.
From the rear side, carefully push out the damaged lens ring.

Step 5: Clean the Lens Area

Thoroughly clean the lens opening to remove all broken glass fragments and dust.
Ensure the camera surface underneath is clean and undamaged.

Step 6: Install the New Lens Ring

Place the new camera lens ring with adhesive into position.
Press gently to secure it.

Repeat the same steps if multiple lens glasses are broken.

Step 7: Reinstall the 3-in-1 Camera Lens Unit

Once all lens glasses are replaced, secure the 3-in-1 camera lens unit frame back onto the body.

Step 8: Replace the Macro Camera Lens Glass

Apply heat and carefully remove the broken macro lens glass from the back cover.
Clean the area and install the new macro lens ring with adhesive.

Final Step: Close the Phone

Snap the back cover into place and press around the edges to secure all clips.
Insert the SIM tray, power on the phone, and test the camera.

FAQs

1. Does replacing the camera lens glass affect the camera sensor?
No. The lens glass is separate from the camera sensor and protects it from dust and damage.

2. Can I replace only one broken lens instead of all lenses?
Yes. Each camera lens glass can be replaced individually.

3. Is Galaxy A13 4G camera lens glass compatible with A13 5G?
No. The lens size and layout are different and not interchangeable.

4. Do I need to remove the camera module for lens replacement?
No. This repair is done by removing the lens glass from the back cover.

5. Will aftermarket lens glass affect photo quality?
Quality aftermarket lens glass works well, but poor-quality glass may cause glare or distortion.
