How to Find Tools and Parts
First, power off the tablet completely.
To remove the LCD screen, gentle heating is required around the screen edges until the adhesive becomes soft.
For this repair, we are using a heating pad.
Place the tablet screen-side down on the heating pad, select the mobile or tablet heating option, and allow the cycle to complete.
Alternatively, you can use a heat gun or hairdryer.
Once the heating is sufficient, use a suction cup to lift the LCD screen slightly.
Insert a plastic pry tool or card and carefully cut the adhesive around the LCD screen.
Next, gently lift and flip the screen so it can rest on the tablet body without straining the flex cables.
Remove the metal bracket by undoing the securing screw.
Disconnect the battery connector first.
Next, undo the two screws holding the LCD connector bracket.
Disconnect the LCD connector plug, and carefully remove the screen unit from the body.
Disconnect and remove the front camera from the body.
Carefully peel off the adhesive and lift the locking lever to release the flex cable.
Remove the faulty front camera and place the new front camera into position.
Secure and reconnect the front camera properly.
Undo thirteen screws securing the internal bracket.
Carefully remove the bracket.
Disconnect and pull out the rear camera from the motherboard.
Place the new rear camera into position and reconnect it securely.
Reinstall the bracket and secure it using the thirteen screws.
Reconnect the LCD connector, followed by the battery connector.
Before sealing the tablet, test the camera and screen functionality to ensure everything works properly.
Secure the LCD connector bracket using two screws
and the battery bracket using one screw.
Before installing the LCD screen, ensure there is enough adhesive.
If needed, apply B7000 glue or use new double-sided LCD adhesive.
Gently slide the screen into place from the bottom first, then align the top.
Apply light pressure around the screen edges.
Use bonding clips to secure the screen and leave them in place for some time.
If bonding clips are not available, use rubber bands to tighten the screen to the body.
