Protect Your Redmi 10 Series
Turn off your Xiaomi Redmi 10 completely before starting the repair.
Gently heat around the rear cover edges until the adhesive softens.
Using a heating pad, place the back cover side down, select the mobile phone heating option, and allow the cycle to complete.
Alternatively, use a heat gun or hairdryer.
Create an opening using a suction cup.
Insert a plastic card or pry tool and carefully cut the adhesive around the edges.
Remove the back cover.
Undo five screws securing the camera lens frame and remove it.
Undo eleven screws securing the midframe.
Eject and remove the SIM tray.
Carefully disconnect the fingerprint button flex cable.
Use a plastic pry tool to separate the back cover frame.
Work gently around the edges to disengage the plastic clips.
Disconnect the battery connector to prevent short circuits.
Disconnect the front camera connector from the logic board.
Gently pry the adhesive and lift the camera out of its slot.
Disconnect and remove the faulty rear cameras as needed:
Replace only the damaged camera module(s) with new ones and place them correctly on the logic board.
Secure the macro, depth, wide, and ultra-wide cameras to the logic board.
Reconnect and secure the front camera module.
Place and secure the midframe on the body.
Ensure all clips are properly fastened.
Insert the SIM tray.
Secure eleven screws on the midframe.
Place the camera lens frame and secure it using five screws.
Ensure the back cover has enough adhesive.
If needed, apply B7000 glue or new double-sided adhesive.
Secure the back cover using bonding clips or rubber bands and leave it for some time.
