DIY Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Battery Repair Guide

First, turn off the phone, and then take out the back cover.

Next, undo ten screws and lift the frame using a pry tool.

Next, disconnect the battery and lcd plug from the logic board.

Next, take out the not-working battery from the body.

First, loosen both adhesive tabs on the bottom, and then gently, use your fingers or tweeze to pull out the adhesive strips. If the sticky is strong, apply heat to soften the battery. And then, use a pry tool to cut the adhesive under the battery.

Next, place the new battery with adhesive.

Next, secure the lcd plug and battery plug into the board.

Next, place and secure the board frame by adding ten screws.

Next, place the camera lens frame by securing the plug. Ans also place the shield.

Next, Before installing the main back cover, make sure it has enough glue; if not, use B7000 glue or a new double-sided back cover adhesive.

Finally, we are adding bonding clips to tighten the rear cover with the body. If not, you can use some rubber bands and Leave them for some time.
