Step 1: Gather Tools

Make sure you have all the required tools ready — listed in the description.
Turn off your phone and remove the SIM tray before starting.

  • Suction cup
  • Plastic card pry tools / opening picks
  • Phillips PH00 screwdriver
  • Adhesive (B7000 or double-sided back cover adhesive)
  • Bonding clips or rubber bands (optional but recommended)

Step 2: Remove the Back Cover

  1. Heat the edges to soften the adhesive using a heating padheat gun, or hair dryer.
    • Use gentle heat to avoid damaging internal components.
  2. Place a suction cup near the bottom to create a gap.
  3. Insert a plastic pry tool and carefully slide around the edges to release the adhesive.
  4. Lift the back cover and set it aside.

Step 3: Open the Mid-Frame

  1. Disconnect the fingerprint/power button connector.
  2. Remove 15 screws securing the mid-frame.
  3. Carefully release the plastic clips with a pry tool and lift the mid-frame.
  4. Disconnect the battery connector for safety.

Step 4: Remove Faulty Cameras

  1. Disconnect and remove the front camera.
  2. Disconnect and free the macro camera.
  3. Disconnect the main rear camera from the board.
  4. To access the ultrawide camera, remove or lift the logic board:
    • Unscrew the board and gently flip it
    • Disconnect and remove the ultrawide camera

Step 5: Install New Cameras

  1. Place the new ultrawide camera and secure the logic board by adding the screw.
  2. Install the new main rear camera
  3. Place the new macro camera
  4. Install the new front camera

  1. Reconnect the battery connector
  2. Reattach the mid-frame, secure all 15 screws, and ensure clips are properly fastened
  3. Insert the SIM tray
  4. Reconnect the fingerprint/power button connector

Step 7: Secure the Back Cover

  1. Check the adhesive — if weak, apply B7000 glue or use a double-sided adhesive sheet
  2. Place the back cover and press firmly
  3. Use bonding clips or rubber bands to hold it in place for several hours for proper adhesion
