Replacing the rear camera module can restore camera functionality and improve photo quality. In this guide, we will show you the complete process, from opening the device to replacing both the main wide and ultrawide cameras.

Make sure the tablet is turned off and the SIM tray is removed before starting.
How to Find Tools and Parts
Protect Your Google Pixel 6A
Turn off your Google Pixel 6a completely before starting the repair.
Heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive.
Alternative: use a heat gun or hair dryer.
⚠️ Be careful: the LCD connector cable is located on the left-hand side.
Lift the screen gradually from right to left and open it like a book.
Use tweezers to remove the connector bracket securing the LCD cable.
Disconnect the LCD connector plug from the board.
Now you can remove the screen from the body.
Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Disconnect and remove the ultrawide camera module from the board.
Disconnect and remove the main wide camera module.
Place the new main wide camera into the correct position.
Place the new ultrawide camera into position and secure it.
Secure the battery connector back onto the motherboard.
Connect the LCD screen and power on the phone for testing.
Check:
Once testing passes, secure the connector bracket.
Before securing the LCD screen, ensure the frame has enough glue.
Use B7000 glue or a new double-sided LCD adhesive if needed.
Gently slide the screen from bottom to top and apply light pressure on edges.
Add bonding clips or rubber bands to secure the screen to the body.
Leave it for some time until the adhesive sets.
