How to Find Tools and Parts
Proper heating is required to separate the screen from the body during tablet repair.
For this, we use a heating pad designed for tablets and mobile phones.
On the iPad 2020 model, make sure to heat the front side. Select the tablet heating option and allow the heating cycle to complete.
Alternatively, you can use a heat gun or hair dryer.
Once the heating is complete:
⚠️ Be gentle while pulling, as flex cables are attached to the logic board.
Note: The shield is missing on this device, but your iPad should normally have it.
Now the touch screen assembly can be removed from the body.
We are using screen bonding clips to secure the screen to the frame.
If unavailable, you can use rubber bands and leave the device clamped for some time.
